I started watching Fairy Tail and I binged all of season 1 just to catch up with everyone else in a month. I picked up random stuff like Strike the Blood, Blue Exorcist and High School DXD but I didn't get the same feeling of my expectations imploding like before. Then, I watched Code Geass (both seasons) and it absolutely BLEW MY MIND. It was memorable to me. On the final episodes of the season, I stayed up till 4 AM on a school night since every episode ended on a cliffhanger. It continues to be a favourite of mine. After that, I went romance genre crazy. I don't know why but still to this day, slice of life and romance will always be my favourite genre of anime like Amagami SS, Kimikiss Pure Rouge, Photokano and Yosuga No Sora (I like omnibus format) but it was those kind of shows that gave me a good feeling when characters confessed or ended up together. Then. Clannad happened. Motherfucker hit me like a school bus. Especially After Story, it was the first time I ever cried to something I was watching.

I really enjoyed the art style of this anime - - it's definitely feels less CGI and more hand drawn. The story is interesting and held my attention through the entire film. The beginning was pretty confusing at first - - and it took a long while to explain what was really happening and how the story should develop through the information that was given. All in all, the sound, BGM, voice actors, and artistic style was 5 star for me. The storyline was pretty confusing in the beginning, but this was still a great film to watch. Definitely not for little kids, with heads getting cut-off and blood pooling everywhere, but I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to watch a hidden gem. This movie is definitely more romance and action than anything else.

Ajoutons à cela une critique sous jacente d'une certaine forme de capitalisme, un humour qui n'est jamais lourd, une amourette qui se dessine et un Mickey Rourke diabolique ( mais dont le personnage aurait mérité plus de corps... seul gros défaut du film).

Au final la profondeur et les émotions du héros malgré son arrogance spontanée mais sympathique nous font adhérer complètement à ce très bon film. Bluray parfait dans les détails notamment de nuit et le son est superbement encodé surtout en VO. Bonus un peu légers malgré tout. Les effets spéciaux ont encore progressé par rapport au premier épisode et l'histoire est passionnante tout en approfondissant l'univers d'Iron Man. Tony Starck (interprété par Robert Downey Jr) est un personnage à la fois sympathique et arrogant et il est assurément l'un des super héros les plus marquants. Cette édition (Blu-ray + DVD + copie digitale) ne comporte aucun défaut et elle vous permettra de profiter de cet excellent film dans des conditions idéales. Les 5 étoiles sont plus que méritées.
