" Attention must be given to the tangled romantic affairs of Lady Mary and Lady Edith, and the sometimes rocky relationship between the Earl and Countess needs some resolution as well. Similar issues involving Carson, Mrs. Hughes, Thomas, Mr. and Mrs. Bates, and Daisy need to be dealt with. Having watched the entire season I am happy to report that Julian Fellowes and his intrepid cast have done an admirable job of dealing with these details and more. If some storylines weren't completely resolved, enough hints are dropped to ensure that we are left with a good idea of what will eventually happen. It should be everyone's first choice for a complete recording--or as least as complete as we're going to get. Rebecca Luker and Brent Barrett are fine leads, and nearly all of the dance music is here. But, for my money, the 1957 Lehman Engel recording for Columbia (now Sony, and still available on CD) tops them all for the singing. Shirley Jones and Jack Cassidy are stellar as Fiona and Tommy, Susan Johnson is a fantastic Meg, and Frank Porretta is the Charlie Dalrymple dreams are made of. There is not much dance music on this disc, scarcely any dialogue, and it's only about 46 minutes long. But the singing is so believable, its other omissions can be forgiven; besides, back in the day, it was an LP. Which brings me back to the present disc. With a playing time of 80+ minutes these days, a CD should not be notable for what it's missing. But, in this case, sadly, it is. There was ample time on this disc for the complete Prologue and Jeannie's Packin' Up, and the dance music, too. It's just too bad some poor decisions got in the way of a good show and an otherwise admirable recording.

That's the part I loved. I mean famed people or genius, whoever they're, they are just like us when it comes to interacting with others. They argue too, it's not like the worst thing to happen, but a normal thing as a human being. Just like animals locking their horns over land or females and sometimes for a no reason. It was directed by 'The Spectacular Now' filmmaker, based on the bestselling memoir by David Lipsky, the character that played by Jesse Eisenberg. It takes place in the late 90s, but present in the film as a recall after a certain event. If you like 'Before Sunrise' kind of films, you will enjoy it, but if you hate slow pace narration, then you should better skip than giving a bad review and rating badly to wreck it up. 7/10 … Expand
